It doesn't always match reality and they wait for the right moment to express their arrogance...
Rarely are people humble by nature or by conscience. A considerable portion of our population says so due to social pressures they receive and still sell an image of simplicity that does not always match reality, as many wait for the right moment to express their arrogance.
Humility is one of the most potent strategies in the world.
Once, Pedro Bial said that “if we are not humble by virtue, let us be by cleverness”. Well, what did he mean by that? This means that life is extremely random and transient, as there is no full prediction of phenomena.
In the past we were devoid of beauty, then we acquired it and lost it again. It also happens with health, money, status, cognitive ability, mental health, among others... Fruit of existential dynamism.
Intelligent is choosing to be humble and understand the existential magnitude. The disheartened person does not understand that what he is experiencing is a moment. Many need to be trampled so that - forced - they are humble, as well as the following saying:
“Worm flinches when stepped on”. (NIETZSCHE, 1889).
Humility is humanizing, it opens the door to empathy, understanding and kindness. It goes hand in hand with self-criticism, as there is no absolute nobody. By understanding that we have strengths and weaknesses, we dramatically improve relationships and, together, society.
