Nothing

I am the anchor that keeps you firm for your sailing. With your nothing and my everything, we'll manage to keep the balance...

(Awareness) – What do you feel?

(I lyrical) – I feel Nothing.

(Awareness) – You mean you don't feel anything?

(I lyrical) – No! I'm saying I feel nothing.

(Consciousness) – How is it possible to feel nothingness? Nothing is absence of everything.

(I lyrical) – Exactly what I said: I feel nothing, the absence of everything. I feel the voids, I feel the insignificance, I feel nothing.

(Awareness) – So, let's put the dots on the i's. If you feel insignificance, you feel something; and if you feel something, it is no longer empty.

(I lyrical) – Your denial of nothingness is fear; you're afraid of feeling empty and you're afraid of not supporting yourself when you're like me, full of nothing. But, I understand, for someone who has carried skeletons and dust all his life, giving up weight is something to think about. You are afraid of floating, so you are filling yourself with useless work. Do like me: fill yourself with nothing.

(Awareness) – But, there is no way to fill me with anything, because I already have everything; and to have nothing, I will have to let go of that everything. That's not a good trade-off. Do you like me: fill yourself with something and leave that nothing aside.

(I lyrical) – And that's your fear speaking right now. Throw it away and you'll see how much lighter you'll feel. Don't let fear and everything you carry chain you. Fill yourself with nothing. You will like it, I'm sure!

(Awareness) – I don't know how to do that. I'm used to the weight, and besides, if I empty myself, it'll be two full of nothing. And then, how can I contrast you? I am the anchor that keeps you firm for your sailing. Walk with your nothing and I'll take my everything and that way we'll manage to keep the balance.

(I lyrical) – If you wish, I will not contradict you. Walk with your feet firmly on the ground and I'll keep floating.
